Kazakhstan: Kazakhstan has a vast territory that covers more than 2,7 million square kilometres and a population of more than 20 million. Please pray for our mission to convey the Word of God in convenient formats and to make it accessible to every citizen of Kazakhstan in their language.
Kyrgyzstan: Pray for our goal to contribute to the spiritual development of the people in Kyrgyzstan through the provision of the Bible and Bible translations. Also, pray for a tolerant society where anyone can read the Bible.
Armenia: Pray for our project to unite Armenian school pupils around reading the Bible. Our Bible quiz competition for schools allows children to learn the Bible while having fun, winning prizes and making new friends. Pray that the Word of God will be accessible and understandable for all, and that they will be filled with the love and peace of God.
Azerbaijan: Pray for our project to introduce a new set of children’s books to the local youth. There is currently no Christian literature for children in their mother tongue. These books will help inform children who live in rural regions about the Gospel.
Pakistan: The literacy rate among women in Pakistan is low, especially for Christian women living in rural areas. Our Beacon in the Darkness of Illiteracy project will equip them to read the Bible and follow the teachings of Christ. We plan to reach 3 000 Christian women through this project in 2025.
Afghanistan: As followers of Christ, please pray for the safety of our Afghan brothers and sisters. Pray that the Holy Spirit will fill them with hope, peace and love, and that their faith in Christ will not place them in the face of persecution and danger.
Georgia: Please continue to pray for our ongoing Bible work and that more people will discover that God’s Word is truly for everyone.
Russian Federation: Please pray for our strategy to consistently develop within various aspects of Bible work, and to preserve a level of financial independence to carry out our vision and mission.
Sudan: Please pray for the protection of Sudanese Bible Society staff and their families, and for the international community to assist with the challenges in our nation so that all conflict will end.
Ethiopia: Praise God for the impact of biblical leadership in our country. Please continue to pray for our goal of building strong relationships with partner organisations and churches. Also, pray for evangelisation efforts to expand the kingdom of God.
Eritrea: Continue to pray for the success of our major strategic objectives: translating the Holy Scriptures into all Eritrean languages, providing efficient Bible distribution and developing long-lasting relationships with the youth, church and government.
South Sudan: Our overall goals include Bible translation, distribution and meeting the Scripture needs of audiences. Please pray for our mission to make the Scriptures available to all who need them. Pray that Bible Society staff will be equipped to support individuals in our Trauma Healing and HIV/Aids programmes.
Central African Republic: Bible Society staff remain committed to being an effective instrument for spreading the Word of God. Please pray for our five-year strategy to strengthen our human resources department and develop infrastructure to help us fulfil our mission.
Cameroon: The Fe’fe’ is a Bamileke language spoken in Haut-Nkam, the West Region of Cameroon. With a population of over 100 000, they do not have a single portion of the Bible in their language. Please pray for the success of this Bible translation so that many will come to know Christ Jesus through the Word of God.
Sahel Project: We thank God for missionary workers and churches supporting Christian communities here. Please pray for the safety of all Christians in this region, and the supernatural provision of physical and spiritual bread.
Gabon: Please pray for our project to translate the New Testament into Gabonese Sign Language. This translation will give over 12 000 deaf people access to Scripture. Pray that our partnership with the Association of the Deaf makes this dream come true.
Chad: Praise God for our mission to translate, produce and distribute the Holy Scriptures to all Chadians in their heart language. Please pray that we will be successful in our goal to establish district committees in towns and villages, and restructure fundraising departments to make them more effective.
